About

I make work about being a type of object.  My objects are sometimes small and delicate, or they can be large, hairy, and hollow.  Often wearable, usually that object references being a certain type of person.  

My goal is to manipulate the object’s appearance to illustrate how people intermingle, communicate, and/or isolate themselves from others.   Often working with fiber materials and photo documentation, I try to create a mosaic of some of the different ways people are objectified through their race, class, or gender.

I also like to make pasties.
